Travel off the beaten path and discover some of the most beautiful places of the south of France. Hiking and Abseiling is a mix of hiking, climbing and abseiling/rapelling up and down the mountains of the Occitanie region.
Presentation
Hiking and Abseiling is a sport activity that anyone can do from the age of 10. Different tours are available depending on your level and desires. All of them are located in the Hérault department, 30 minutes from Montpellier. You will explore hiking trails that will lead you to places and summits of mountains with gorgeous views, from the sea to the rivers and valleys of the Cévennes. Most of these paths are located in the middle of nature and are only reachable with the use of technical gear and specific techniques. Whether you choose to go to the Pic Saint Loup, the rocher de Sion or the Verdus, you will enjoy the thrill and the adrenaline of this unforgettable adventure.
You have 3 routes to choose from and each one is different in terms of location, landscape and features. To get more information on each route and find the one that fits you the most, you can select one of the activities below:
Organisation
All the activities are guided by qualified and certified instructors and include the technical gear: rope, helmet, harness, pulley and belay/rappel device depending on the route.
Each participant needs to bring a bottle of water, something to eat, a pair of sneakers/trainers, sunglasses and sunscreen, a vest and a small backpack.
