Canyon du Diable | Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert | Hérault
You are in the heart of the Herault gorges near Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert, one of the most beautiful villages of France. Its limestone landscape, typical of the region, makes it a remarkable site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Canyon du Diable is one of the closest canyons from Montpellier.
Presentation
It is an discovery canyon that offers plenty of possibilities. It is accessible from the age of 6. This course is really suitable for everyone because it offers fun workshops such as jumps from 1 to 10 metres, a beautiful zipline ending in the water, a rappel and many other aquatic surprises. And if something scares you, it is optional so you can avoid it. Its aquatic and playful nature allows you to enjoy this descent during a long period of the year. We descend the Hérault river in a beautiful setting.
Organisation
This activity which can be done from the age of 6 is done either in the morning at 9:30 or in the afternoon at 14:00 (or 13:30).

A shuttle transporting all participants is set up for this period.
The meeting is at this car park/lot in Saint-Jean-de-Fos.
The meeting times can be slightly modified to adapt to the organisation of the canyoning tours and the schedule of the shuttle. Check the confirmation information sent by email when you book your activity. In case of any changes, we will contact you in advance.
Make sure to arrive on time (the shuttle leaves without you if you arrive late) to enjoy your canyoning tour!

The meeting location is at the bus stop of the Grotte de Clamouse located between the Pont du diable and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.
Depending on the circuit, it starts with either a 2-minutes hike or a 15-minutes one and then you are in the canyon for around 3 hours of fun guided by a certified instructor. It ends with either a 2-minutes hike or with a 15-minute one.
All the technical gear is brought and lent by the guide. We will ask you to give us the height and weight of each participant to pick a neoprene suit adapted to your morphology. Each participant needs to bring a swimsuit, a towel, a pair of sneakers/trainers and a bottle of water.
We accept payments in cash, cheques-vacances and cheques but NO credit cards.
